Using Your Dashboard

The OurCare Data Dashboard allows you to explore patient-reported experiences with primary care across Canada. The dashboard visualizes survey data organized around the six elements of the OurCare Standard. You can also view results by key demographic groups to better understand access, experience, and equity in care.

To begin, select one of the six elements of the OurCare Standard—either from the homepage or by clicking the "Explore the data" dropdown at the top of the page. Next, choose a specific question from the left-hand navigation pane. You can view responses from all respondents, those with a primary care clinician, or those without a primary care clinician.

To explore results by demographic group, click the "View more" button beside the graph you're interested in. The selected question will appear at the top of the page, followed by additional graphs showing how different groups of people responded to the same question.

Move your cursor over a graph to view the exact percentages and corresponding 95% confidence intervals.

All results shown in the dashboard are weighted. Weighting helps ensure that the findings reflect the demographic makeup of people living in Canada, rather than just the characteristics of the survey respondents. The number of responses in each graph represents the total number of respondents to the question before weighting was applied.
